How does pricing work?

You send us the job and we give you an estimated price straight away. We then take your job to our verified base of suppliers, judge the quotes on quality as well as cost, and call you back with the best match at the best price. Our 20 years in the industry means we know what a job should cost, so the confirmed price is often lower than the estimate. If anything else is found later we confirm the extra with you before doing any work, never after.

What actually happens after I submit a quote?

We review your details and photos, put the job to our verified suppliers, and call you back with a firm price and realistic timings, usually within a couple of hours. If you're happy, a small deposit secures your specialist and your slot. We then collect the car, or come to you where the job can be done remotely, and return it with the work complete. The balance is only paid once you're satisfied.

Do you come to me or take my car away?

Both, we match the method to the job. Smaller cosmetic jobs (SMART repair, minor scuffs, small dents, kerbed alloys, headlight restoration) can often be completed remotely at your home or work by a vetted mobile specialist, subject to availability, location and demand. Larger or workshop-based work (resprays, body kits, wraps, PPF, ceramic coating, interior retrims, rust work) is collected by a member of our team, completed at a vetted specialist workshop, quality-checked and returned. Either way, the work is fully insured and workmanship-guaranteed by Collect & Correct. We confirm the method when we call you back.

Who actually does the work?

A verified base of specialists we've built over 20 years in the industry, each checked by us for skill, insurance and finish standards before a single car goes near them. We keep partner identities private; your assurance is our vetting, our in-person inspection and our workmanship guarantee.

Is my car insured while it's with you?

Accepted Answer

Yes, fully insured from collection through repair and back to your door. Our specialists carry motor trade insurance and we sit on top of that with our own cover. Remote on-site work is covered on the same basis.

What's the workmanship guarantee?

If you're not happy with the finish, tell us within 14 days and we'll make it right. No arguments. The same guarantee applies whether the job is done at your door or in a workshop.

Do you offer a courtesy car?

Yes, for collect-and-return jobs, add one when you book for a small daily fee. It's dropped off when we collect yours and swapped back on return. Not usually needed for remote on-site repairs.

The price we agree on the callback is the price you pay. If something extra comes up we call you before starting, and you decide whether to go ahead. No surprise bills.

Most on-site mobile jobs are completed in a single visit. Collected cosmetic jobs are usually 24–72 hours with us; larger respray or wrap work can take 3–7 days. You get a return-by date at booking.
